Re: Frequent or infrequent use?
I bought mine with the intention of it being a weekend runner but it's to much fun lol also my daily driver has needed a few bits doing so that's been off the road so it's been a good excuse to use it daily lol I do wonder if more use keeps things going longer? I know these are a little fragile but ...

Frequent or infrequent use?
So, winter is soon upon us it seems so I ask a question, a lot of us by the F/Tf for weekend use but some buy for everyday use. Which is better for our cars? What do you use yours for? Do our cars prefer frequent use to keep everything ticking along or do we keep them longer lasting by not using the...

Re: what have you done on your mgf today?
Fitted my osram nightbreaker unlimited, sadly my tf has a low beam??? So even though the bulbs are brighter I still can only see about 15ft in front of me, sooooo I raised the beam. No one has flashed me yet so may try a quarter turn more. Have noticed that my flexi part of my exhaust has fallen apa...

Re: Speaker upgrades
So what head units are people running? I have a sony xplod 2500 in my tf as it has a grey facia which matches the car interior. And it's so handy having the music playing from my phone without wires getting in the way, standard speakers at the moment but I think I shall upgrade all of them, maybe ge...

Re: Speaker upgrades
I too am an old git, but I do love a good tune playing on the old radiogram. I do think MG's do have a rep for being older peoples cars but many youngsters have them now as they are so cheap to buy, and damn do they love that hippity hoppity music blaring. Let's teach them who sir terry wogan is sha...

Re: Speaker upgrades
Lol this is true, we are very lucky that some cars fall apart and get broken allowing others to improve their own. All my bits so far have come off one car that's local to me and I have gotten some real bargains. Lol

Re: Speaker upgrades
Cheers Rob, Sounds good to me, I do think there is a wealth of untapped knowledge out there that could be brought into a central place. I think with regards to mods as such we are lucky that there are very few chav add ons, but that of course is an each to there own kinda thing, I do like that you c...

Re: Speaker upgrades
Could be a general mods section maybe? We do have a section for technical for problems but you can become bogged down like you say with subsection after subsection, but I think a mods section would be useful to show off your upgrades especially ICE. I do think this is worth consideration, I know I'm...

Re: Speaker upgrades
Personally, I think there should be a section dedicated to it for the exact reason you said Rob, because it's a noisy roadster some people will want to hear their music so anyone who has good knowledge should have a place they can share easily and people that want to find stuff out can do so easily....

Speaker upgrades
Hello people, I am considering at some point upgrading the speakers in my tf, both front and rear. There are loads to choose from for the front, less so for the rear so I wanted to ask as there is no section here for ICE as the youngsters call it, what have you done to your speakers? Have you just u...

Re: 56mm throttle body?
TF135 and 160 models had a 52mm TB as standard. TF120 and 115 models use the 48mm version :) Is that a fact Rob? Well blow me lol how come so many go on about changing to a 52mm then? Maybe I should get the old dentists mirror out and check lol you sure that's right? Flippin good if it is lol :thum...
