Generally the connectors would be the same but occasionally I have found differences with the perm and switch live.
Keys for removal may be different but generally cheap.
It's possible to remove without these if you carefully pop the facia and push the stereo out from the back.

Have put a couple of cheap moisture traps in mine.

Could put in a closed induction filter such as a Vadar a standard air box or one from a TF.
I have a standard one you can have if you like but a closed induction or a Tf one are better
