Re: What are you going to put in place of the tax disc?

Car tax or vehicle excise to give it it's proper name does not fund the roads and hasn't for many many years.

Dropping the paper disc comes in from October 2014.
You will be able to pay by direct debit monthly for an extra 5%.

The best source I know for info on the PG1 is www.rovertech.net - they've been playing with them since before Tim Berners-Lee wrote a small computer program!

Re: Anyone interested in an electrically heated windscreen?

Might be worth asking - http://uroglas.com/index.html

The ZS ones that Ricky Evens has supplied were made overseas, not sure where but they arrived in the UK by container.

Re: Central Locking Problem....

I would guess that some of the relays in the BCU have failed, this would account for the non unlocking, the non flashing and the non working passenger window.

There is a chap on one of the forums called technozone who will replace the relays if you send him your BCU.

They should fit, must have been pattern parts.
If it's the hole on the lens that is too small it shouldn't be too hard to fettle.

They are, they are also fitted to many other Austin and Rover models of the 80's and 90's.

Re: Anyone interested in an electrically heated windscreen?

I didn't see this thread the first time around or would have put my name forward. I joined a group buy for the same from Ricky Evens for the ZS, it was duly delivered by a little man in a van and fitted by the local auto glaciers. I very occasionally notice the elements, normally when driving into d...
