Re: Easy to fit a Pioneer DEH-1600UB ? HELP

Generally the connectors would be the same but occasionally I have found differences with the perm and switch live.
Keys for removal may be different but generally cheap.
It's possible to remove without these if you carefully pop the facia and push the stereo out from the back.

Admittedly it was my first car after passing my test so probably being a bit harsh on the Maxi's cornering ability. :-)

Re: unbelievable classic car collection discovered

I used to have a Maxi, inherited it from my grandad. Comfortable in a straight line but like a boat on corners!

Re: advice needed...

Are the interior door handles rectangular or oval and does the gear lever have a round or square gate?

Re: Mold!

Have put a couple of cheap moisture traps in mine.
To early to say if it helps though.
For what they cost in the pound shop worth a try.

Re: Exhaust note adjustment

Could put in a closed induction filter such as a Vadar a standard air box or one from a TF.
I have a standard one you can have if you like but a closed induction or a Tf one are better

Re: Exhaust note adjustment

To a degree yes.
A cat may make it more bearable if one isn't installed.
