wanted - Goodyear 215 40 16
Hi folks,
does anyone have a preloved goodyear as above. Ideally GS-D3 but GS-D2 may be ok.
wanted as serviceable spare so must be good condition - however low but legal tread fine - eg 3mm ish.
Ideally Ox/Bucks/Berks way but that may be a bit too hopefull!
thanks
Chris

Thanks rob.
A tenner sounds a bargain, £15 sounds fairer if you're ok with that!
If paypal is ok please can you pm the appropriate e-mail.
Cheers

Hi rob,
Assuming Russ isn't buying your clock (and assuming you want to sell!), what would you want for it please.
It's only been 3 years since mine broke so no rush!!! Understand if not available.
Cheers

Re: Original MGF MK1 Radio Cassette/Boot CD
Just a thought - is 026 definitely the right changer?
My head unit uses a dc082 changer.
Guess you have the right one but thought I'd mention just in case!

Re: Headlight bowl rechrome
Thanks charless. Great to hear another recommendation. It was more the postage cost / damage / loss risk that i was trying to avoid by hand delivering locally - royal mail loose about 10per cent of my parcels which gets rather annoying after a while! I'd always rather pay an honest price for a hones...

Headlight bowl rechrome
Having been fortunate to acquire some spare headlight bowls, can anyone recommend anywhere that can rechrome/resilver/recoat etc - other than Dual Metallising in Birmingham?
Having read a few threads it seems like the DIY approach doesn't work too well?
Thanks
Chris

Re: Original MGF MK1 Radio Cassette/Boot CD
Hi Jon, Thanks for offering these. If previous repliers are not taking these I'd be very interested. I would use as spares - i've got a fault on the changer I just can't fathom - and currently have 2 head units & 3 changers, non- of which change CD's consistently! Royal mail would be fine. Happy to ...

Re: Free junk
Hi Malcbox, Thanks for the offer. I'd be interested in the the reflectors etc for possible rechroming as you say - i suspect 1 MOT soon they'll need doing! I can then pass on the 'spare' to keep someone else going Let me know how much you are after- i live near Oxford so could easily pick up. cheers...

Re: CD changer ERROR message - phillips DC082
thanks alanick.
good suggestion, however i can't see anything that looks like a reset on the changer case.
anyone know if/where they are on a DC082?

b^gger. just read your post again & realised it's the radio/cd you want, not the radio/tape ones i've started collecting. http://www.mgfregister.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5992 if i get sorted you are still welcome to the spare, but guess it's not what you are after. was hoping to help out a fell...

CD changer ERROR message - MG std unit
Hi all, not really technical but it's been bugging me for a while... has anyone got any suggestions: the CD changer stopped doing anything except showing an error message on the head-unit display - it won't even eject the cartridge. No problem i thought and bought a spare changer off e-bay, plugged ...
