Re: respray price - TF boot
Am I reading this right. You want to buy a new post 2008 Boot Lid in primer, pay to have it painted and fit it in order to replace a good lid with one with a boot popper bracket. !!! If that is the case, then I would have found someone with the right car, taken some piccies and dimensions and then ...

Re: respray price - TF boot
I did it the easy way and just found panels in the right colour. Not sure how easy that would be on a Raven black car but the boot light is a pain to remove so would factor in a new one for when it breaks. As for badges I would go with new ones aswell. Good point...unfortunately Raven Black is not ...

respray price - TF boot
I'm pricing up a replacement boot lid for my LE500. 1. Assuming I buy a new in-primer boot lid what would should I budget for getting it sprayed Raven Black to match as far as possible the existing paintwork? 2. How easy is it to transfer the brake light, badge and loom? 3. Any gotchas I should be a...

Because the 85th latch has no link rod, you will have to very accurate in fabricating a bracket to ensure correct alignment of the solenoid to the latch lever. Re: anyone got a late SAIC/NAC TF with OEM remote boot opene
Here are the LE500 version and the 85th Anniversary version latches. You can clearly see the difference.. LE500 latch.jpg 85th latch.jpg It looks very much like the latch FQU100200 from the pre facelift Rover 400 / 45 / ZS or later face lift 25 / ZR works in the opposite direction...so in your case ...

I'm cruising the breakers online at the moment to see if I can locate a bit of wire with the solenoid connector..The other end as you say is simply a case of cutting off the white connector and replacing with something else. That bit of wire isn't available as a spare part anymore according to Rimme...

Haven't noticed that...so I think No...not in my LE500...talkingcars wrote:Do the internal LEDs remain slightly on when off?
In the ZS there is enough residual energy to allow the LEDs to glow slightly.

Re: anyone got a late SAIC/NAC TF with OEM remote boot opene
3. The boot latch needs to be either a real 85th Anniversary one with the tag for the solenoid to fix to or a cobbled up one with a tag welded on. I ordered a new 85th Anniversary latch from Rimmers in the expectation that it would have the tag but it doesn't. It's a different part number and one sp...

Re: anyone got a late SAIC/NAC TF with OEM remote boot opene
Following a very helpful post by Paul Madraszek over on .org I have confirmed that his findings are consistent with my LE500.. The wiring for the remote boot opening function is present in the LE500s. The fuse is F6 and the external relay is fitted in the unoccupied position in the relay block locat...
