Annoying Leak/Drip
Since buying my F 4 years ago its always leaked from the location shown in the picture Only on the passenger side. Most MGF's would strougle after 79 days old ;o) not mine ofcourse. Cant even get it off the drive ;o(

I have fitted the ebc turbo groove vented to both front and rear with green stuff pads. And with the big front discs. all seems fine. but i dont race round tracks, definatley improved braking. and yes looks great! Costs a packet though.

What ever cover you do use. Make sure you car is cleaned very well a good polish and sealant on your paintwork maybe a couple coats of hard wax over that this should then protect from most risk of scratching that a car cover will give. On the front I place mine under the mounting brackets of the anti-roll bar they are a nice fit. And will not obstruct too much. Are you cleaning up and undersealing?

Thanks Rob Great advice I will certainl do that. I may even throw some more protective paint/stone chip or whatever within these "crud traps", This is almost certainly the cause of the rust in the first place. quite, I think mine is related to fitting green stuff ebc brakes I will take a look tomorrow. hope its not hand brake cable replacement!!!

Sorry, what I meant is a few people from another members club, had the headgasket on the vvc keep failing 3 times in a year for one chap. But they were overworking it before getting it up to temp. Also think they were a bit heavy footed. :0)

I had an issue where the fan would not come on. Was not the stat, I took it to an auto-electrician who traced the fault to a relay. (£35 quid) As well as this I have flushed my coolant twice in the past 4 years, and refilled 50/50, coolant first. Let the engine up to temp and left the expansion cap ...

Drivers Side Front Wing
Hi all,
I will soon be removing Drivers side front wing and possibly passenger side as well for respray and some underseal work.
While the wing is off are then any other jobs I might want to do??? maintenance etc... Please let me know.

Hi all,
Neil here new to the forum, been hunting for a decent forum that specifically deals mainly with MGF. I have had my '98 mgf for 4 years now and done plenty of work on it but it seems to be a never ending task.. Hoping that some members can help me out with various bits and bobs.
