I use one FOB but also keep the EKA (Emergency Key Access Code) to use if it fails.

Have someone depress the clutch whilst you measure the slave piston movement. I cannot give you a good dimension as mine is Steptronic but somebody can.

Jack the car up and look for an obvious leek If none, then next, local members will tell you of a garage with hydraulic equipment. Visit or trailer. There are plenty of Pre 2000 cable driven speedos on E-Bay or from MG F Breakers. in the UK. Post 2000 are electronic and no good for you.

The better buy is the BMW built Mk 2 Fs before it was taken over by the Consortium who stripped it of many things that we know and probably more that we do not know of. I bought my My 2000 at the March Geneva Motor Show when the Steptronic was Announced. It is outside at 66K and GT-ised. viz No hood...

The only time that our fan came on was slow speed, high power up Swiss Mountains at above 30 Deg ambient. I fitted a switch and a couple of solenoids so that at the bottom of the hill, the HRW switch turned the fan ON . All Cool. This kept the Auto run on with ignition off. Geoff.F Hi Geoff, could ...
