Umm, doesn't the cap regulate pressure at all times? i.e. constantly?

I am trying to remember what causes the trigger for the ECU, IIRC it'll be the crank sensor which is at the back of the block above the starter, check wiring and if need be pop it out and clean it.

Clean it out, go for a long drive and keep an eye on it. It is either HGF or isn't HGF. If it is you'll need to get it sorted anyway.

People have swapped to TF subframes, others have fitted the suplex solution and yet others have fitted the Australian version.

Alas for me I'm on the older one so a mappable ecu will mean a re mortgage for an emerald. Or upgrade to MEMS3, I can't remember the details but it can be done using the earlier manifold by adding a sensor and then getting the requirement for the post cat lambda probe mapped out of the ECU so it do...

Cam belt - alternator belt - water pump - battery - fob battery - all service items you could also ignore.

Z&F can do mk2 F from VIN 522573 onwards, the mk1 can not be mapped on the standard ECU.

Clean the induction kit before fitting - proper K&N cleaning kits are only a few £ from all the usual suspects.
