I have just purchased a brown coolant temperature sensor, I have just noticed the one I have fitted is black.
My mgf is a 2001, Would the brown one still fit.

Thanks Eric, I have done a quick search on the forum, some suspect the throttle body, but mine is a metal one, but thanks I will replace the temperature sensor .

Hi Guys, I live in the Solihull area and was wondering if anyone has a fault code reader. I took my f out over weekend and when the engine got up to temperature it started to judder quite bad, I have replaced plugs, coils and leads, problem still there. Hi Guys, I have a 2001 mgf, it has just started making a knocking noise when Ig o over a bump.
It is coming from the near side front, I have had a pull around a little but can't seem to see anything loose.
