Re: AP racing calipers under standard wheels without spacers... pure madness!
You should be okay with a 3 or 5mm aftermarket spacer - the wheel should still locate on the centre bore and their should be enough thread engagement on the wheel lugs. Others have fitted this size of spacer to other wheels without problem. But for me, I would be tempted to change over the wheel st...

Re: AP racing calipers under standard wheels without spacers... pure madness!
Can I ask what your thoughts are on my set up with spacers? I have AP front calipers under 11 spokes already and was wondering if a std 3mm or 5mm spacer would fit under this set up? The spacers are inexpensive on the bay of e! My rears are normal calipers and I wanted to "fill out" the rear stance ...

Re: Wanted:Emission guru/ Merseyside area,??
Plugs were changed 1200miles ago with the recommended type. I agree it needs a specialist its either one of the mobile experts or find a local mg rover expert in the NW.

Re: Wanted:Emission guru/ Merseyside area,??
Thanks Rob..it's a head scratcher but it'll have to go to a specialist rather than "a garage" for a more indepth diagnosis I think, although the garage has been excellent his model expertise isn't quite there!!

Re: Wanted:Emission guru/ Merseyside area,??
Emissions issues do seem to follow the TT exhaust around. From what I have read in the past, try stuffing the passenger (left hand) side pipe with a rag. The MoT tester may or may not allow the car to pass in this state but at least you will be able to see the effect on the readings. This has been ...

Re: Wanted:Emission guru/ Merseyside area,??
It wasn't an ebay bargain...supplied as a replacement by the garage doing the repairs along with the sensors!! So I would hope they are good items! And to add these are the original figures..since the cat and sensors have been replaced the figures have improved but not enough :thumbsd: I'm thinking ...

Re: Is DAB any good in the TF?
Hi, I have gone the DAB route in my TF and as mgtfnut said the reception and which stations are available depend on your location. Towns and cities are well covered but I am out in the sticks. I had tried DAB/FM splitter on original antenna and stick on windscreen type but signal was not good apart...

Is DAB any good in the TF?
As per title guys n dolls ..need to change my head unit as I'm considering a DAB unit with all the other usual functions.
Has any one tried this and fitted the aerial that fits on the windscreen to pick up dab signal?
Look forward to your tales of woe or otherwise

Re: Oulton Park 22nd May!
I've not yet heard. You would need to bring proof of MG Car Club Membership and sign on - it's the Zed Register that organise this Yes I know Colin...I have done it a few times over the years..was hoping that someone might know as it could be busy so getting there early to sign on if required :thum...

Oulton Park 22nd May!
To those in the know..can anyone tell me if it will be possible to have parade laps during the lunch break at Oulton Park next Saturday? It says on the raceday itinerary that there will be a parade of MG owners at lunch and I wondered if there is a definite answer yet?
