Re: *Wanted* 16" Wheels (11 spoke ideally)

OK, good luck, I'm sure we all look forward to seeing the results.

True, the cars are not the hardest to work on, tricky in places of course and there's satisfaction in doing it yourself.

Re: TF Tyres

A friend in Belgium has these, she hates them !

Noisy and it doesn't handle well, she has them on her TF160.

Re: Build Number

Sorry, I'm a little confused here. The car info comes to me, I'm the Registrar. In the boot you will find the body number is this what you mean by the build number ? I assume you have a Vibrant Orange LE500 as, for some reason, they do not have a body number where one should be, all other colours do...

FOR SALE: Ice White 85th anniversary

A friend is selling his immaculate 25000 mile 85th anniversary. I have many pictures of the car which I will put up soon. Full service history, MoT until May 2017. Only 18 made in Ice White, this was the last one, first registered 03/11/2009. He's asking £7500 for an enthusiast sale. If no takers it...

Re: Anyone know this car, it lives in Ireland.

I don't know, you would have to ask Tim (the editor) or Keith about that. I've got the vin's and build dates but nothing else on these, as I said, we have no representation from Ireland therefore, no additional data.

The build dates range from 22/06/2002 to 02/09/2003 for the four in question.

Re: Anyone know this car, it lives in Ireland.

Hi Si, not much to go on there mate. What I can work out for you : There are 58 cars in Mirage or Mirage 2, the difference is very small and hard to tell without the two being side by side, but then which one is which ? First of all it's not unique spec as the seller says, there are 11 in Mirage or ...

Over the years we've been with the Register to Sweden twice, Norway, all of the main European countries many times, the Tour de Lux seven times, we've driven the Alps, the Pyrenees, the Dolomites and we've been as far as Monenegro, Bosnia and Croatia. As Colin has said we're back in Luxembourg July ...

Probably impossible Erik. Keep it on British plates and bring it over here once a year for the annual test. It would look good in your garage

Hi Paul, we'd love to join you but some are on the Tour de Lux(embourg) and the rest are at a local car show that we're running for the Anglia Centre. So all hands are fully occupied.

Have a great one, 13 years is really impressive ,well done all of you.

Re: Loud squealing noise with white smoke.

Slip the belt off and spin the alternator by hand, that will tell you in it's seized. Remove the panel in the osr wheel arch for better access. Don't forget to secure the car on a stand though.
