Ok Folks, it is almost 'Highlander' Time and I am looking forward to seeing you all again. :D We have some great routes planned for the weekend and hope to shake off this dreadful weather by then. We will all gather in the Royal Hotel throughout the Friday and enjoy dinner in the hotel that evening....

There are seven rooms left of the 20 I pre - reserved. Get them booked! (Although there are 13 rooms booked up so far, on this particular Highlander, as it in the backyard of MGFreedom, many of the locals are joining us during the day for runs and in the evenings for dinner & drinks without staying ...

As Tim says, early booking is important. This is a relatively small hotel but comes highly recommended. We have asked that they hold a number of rooms open for us until the end of October. Another great day and again we were blessed with glorious sunshine. We had 8 cars in attendance and another four came up from Northumberland to meet us. Great roads, lovely weather, tops off and an interesting classic event. what more could you ask for on a Sunday?

This turned out to be a very succesful event and was enjoyed by all who attended. Next year we are considering the lake district as a venue for our trip south of the border.
