Toyo are are good choice of tyre. Don't change the head gasket if it's not gone ~ no need to do so. Water pump at the same time as the cam belt is always recommended, as is changing the underbody coolant pipes for stainless ones.

Best way is to replace the entire soft top. Quite easy to do if you have a rivet gun ~ takes most of a day to do. Try Martin Smith as he had a stock.

All the Hex bolts are false, you need to carefully prise the surround away from the rear piece. From memory you have to cut the tip of the blue part off to release the lock, but be careful to insert it the correct way up in the new filler. I'm sure someone with better knowledge will be along soon.
