Re: Needed: Alloy Intake Manifold
Have a TF135 Alloy manifold fitted to my 75th MGF as the plastic one was well warped. It was not a straightforwards swap but yours being a Mems3 would be easier as mine beign a Mems 1.9 used some different sensors. I bought a complete manifold with injectors, injector wiring loom and throttle body w...

Re: cant remove the rear training arm on MGF
If as I suspect your referring to the tie bars that go through the compliance bush they I am afraid you will have to drop the rear subframe to remove those bolts especially now. I managed to get them undone on the 75th but on "Elsie" my 97 VVC they have defeated all efforts to date. I only know of o...

Re: Poor quality exhaust front pipe and customer service.
Mykel the one from the motor factors was only £37 and that is a Klarius one. When I first worked for Kwik-Fit back when Tom Farmer owned it a complete exhaust for a Mk3 Cortina was £19.95 fitted with 2 year warranty. The front pipes on those cost pennies to make and Kwik-Fit paid about £1 for the fr...

Poor quality exhaust front pipe and customer service.
For any members who would be considering buying a 4 bolt front pipe from the ebay vendor yesparts eBay item number:131646996990 ................................ be aware not only are the pipes very cheaply made and they are more than likely to fracture at the flexi part but the customer service is d...

I bougth a Jay;ad one and it is fitted to the 97 VVC with TF snorkle but on the 75th I made up my own that retains the original air intake box for theheater and it works just as well.

Thank you the RAC chappie I spoke to knew nothing about this and said they would not be able to help...Time to speak to someone who knows their offerings better methinks. The Rover 75 CDT is actually insured through the RAC as well.

It has had several owners so I do not know for sure but it has a MPH unit in it now and had so when I got her.Mykel wrote:Malta maybe indeed be an exception to the rule, as they are the only RHD market apart form the UK and RoI. And a pretty tiny one, too. Did your car come with an mph speedo?

Re: what have you done on your mgf today?

As it was only fitted in Jan this year have sent it back under warrenty. Of course i ahd to pay the postage. That is the ...

Interesting as when I enquired about the history of the Mulberry one I currently have (#1864) it seems it went to Malta but it is RHD and has the multispokes.

As I understood it the Mulberry Red was for UK only. Black was for UK and export and Silver was export only.

I replaced almost all the bushes on the 75th with Orange Duraflex bushes and they have been good although the quality of the machining of the S/S spacers left a lot to be desired.

Re: 75th Anniversary Model..... the rescue thread ......
Well after crunching numbers it looks like I will have to let this 75th Anniversary MGF go. The costs and logistics of moving more than one car then the conversion and registering is going to be too much so once the failed font pipe is replaced it very much looks like she will be up for sale .
