Re: Reset service light. LE500 etc
It's now released in pscan version 041C. If people can test it and report back then that would be great.

Reset service light. LE500 etc
It looks like we have finally cracked the LE500 service light reset protocol.
Are these dash panels that only MG can reset fitted only to the LE500 or are they on the MGTF (or anything else) as well?

Re: Pektron testing and fob programming offer
You need to bring with you a brand new, never used, with bar code new remote fob. Even if you can find a used fob with a Barcode I'm told that it won't work. The difference between the genuine ones and the technozen ones is that with a genuine one when you turn on the ignition the immobiliser will a...

Re: Pektron testing and fob programming offer
I don't believe that that functionality is available through the diagnostic port. My understanding is that technozen has to do this with the Pektron in pieces on the bench, so no I don't intend to support it.

Pektron testing and fob programming offer
I have had Rob's Pektron equipped MG ZR on my drive for a while now, and I have cracked pretty much all of the diagnostics protocol on it. Now I need to test things on an MGF. Also it would be good to test fob programming. I have to buy Pektron fobs and once they are programmed into a car I can't "u...

Thanks. I should be able to figure out which ECU has the fault if I can have your old 5AS, MEMS and key fobs. I have sent a PM with a postal address.Mattyboy2154 wrote:[I am more than happy to donate my old ECU, 5AS and fob to the Pscan chap if he can use it to help others.

I would just save it as a csv file so you could open it in Excel or Libreoffice.

Re: Live data issue on early MEMS1.9 now FIXED
From a programming perspective the easiest thing is to just log the same data that is seen on screen to harddrive (via memory). So whatever parameters you select on screen, is what gets recorded.

What is the period of time that you need to log data for? I will start working on this I think.

Re: Live data issue on early MEMS1.9 now FIXED
but have you had a chance to data log? Perhaps to a csv file? Perhaps you think that this is a five minute job ;) How much data needs to be recorded? I am thinking that opening a file and writing to disc as the same time as collecting data from the ECU (which is a real time activity) is not going t...
