Many thanks.

More than happy to set off last and then take pot luck at the Stonemasons - just as we did for the last run!
Trev has managed to amend the booking, so you will be able to have lunch.

Re: Your experience

Having been running MG TFs and MGFs as a daily driver since 2005. No real problems experienced. Have probably driven 150K miles in them in that time.

Re: Alarm issues after flat battery

Worth trying a new battery ~ clearly if the battery is dead it won't work. Easy to switch the battery, the old one just slides out once you have the fob apart. Then you need to resync it to the car by pressing unlock 5 or so times.

It sounds as though the immobiliser isn't fully disabling. Have you tried the spare fob?

Thanks Nigel,

Not a problem with the pub. We knew it was short notice.

All being well, we'll see you at Rich's Cider Farm.

Great ~ look forward to catching up with you both.

Hi Gillian & Richard,

Booked you in for coffee but unfortunately the pub doesn't have any spare seats ~ they're fully booked up. You're welcome to join us for coffee and the run.

Looks more like the carpet that sits upright behind the seats against the firewall. Could normally be hidden behind the arrest.

Re: MGTF rear window

Although your car may be registered in an 05 plate, it would have been an 04 Model Year (MY) car. It was the 05 MY cars which had a glass screen, they were built from late 2004.

If it has a switch then you should be good to go. All cars had the wiring, but not the switch and relay.
