I have wired my low level warning to the unused cat over heat warning on the dash from a constant live so as soon as I approach the car I know if it is low.

In my experience this is probably an air leak in or around the inlet manifold.

The issue with the plastic inlet manifold and coolant leaks is more so related to the inlet manifold gasket becoming hard, shrinking and leaking coolant as a result, not due to warping. I ended up with a box of 18 x 190mm bolts as my local fixings factors had to order them especially and minimum order from their supplier is 20.

IIRC you can program 10 fobs to each car.
When I had 5 cars using the Lucas system I used my pscan to program 2 fobs to each car and another that worked on all of the cars.
