Based on Andrew's comments by the time the *F* has reached decent values the Squirrel will be forty and I will be one hundred !!

The Squirrel is still going strong at 23 years plus!

The Green Squirrel (1996 1.8i MG F ) flew through her MOT again with the advisory that there was a ''product'' on the headlight lens which was not affecting the light ?? The product was my beam benders for when on the Continent :lol: They don't do a lot but they keep the French police happy :sf:

We would love to do this BUT I feel it is a bit too soon after my lung surgery last November as I am still suffering the effects of having a section of lung removed -- we will see how I am after a trip to Cornwall in March.

Living in Woolwich puts us outside the zone by about 200 metres! And both cars are liable --- That is our 1996 MGF and 2011 Discovery 4

That's young -- ours is 23 years old next month!

Not sure what year they changed to CD but our original 1996 MGF has the MG brand cassette player!

Looks great - Route Barree is found all over France - quite often it is worth ignoring!

Remember it well !! On the strength of that review we went out and ordered one - it arrived six months later ----
and we still have it!

Rob why worry - we enjoy them and we (Karin and I) have just completed a 2146 mile MGF trip London to the High Alps and then following the Rhine back to Holland - 15 *F*s and *TF*s and not a single breakdown.

and over on another site there are guys offering new body parts that turn the car into a monstrosity and these wont be shown on the V5 either - although you will be able to see them ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Great story Rob - the Green Squirrel also has a collection dents and scratches - call it patina

I guess I will have to look out for things British and green - do you think they would let me in at Wimbledon to take a photo on centre court?
