Re: TF160 Rust Coming Front Wheel Arch

Hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry don't know anybody in your area that does bodywork, but any good local body repair/paint sprayers should be able to quote for a repair. You could try posting on the Thames valley area of this forum! Or If you are on Facebook there is a Thames valley group or the...

Re: Meet ups

Hi I am sure there are some mg owners in that area but we don't organise a natter there at the moment! You could see if there is a mgcc south east centre natter near you. I think they are listed on there website.

Re: MG TF Central Locking

Have you cleaned all the electrical connections to the drivers lock as my f (I know it's different) was doing very strange things when locking! Ended up being dirty connections to the lock!

Re: Save an MGF

That's a shame you have to let it go but it must be worth at least £500 with a mot!?
It might be worth putting on the f register Facebook or other related pages as you might get more takers as you don't have much time!
Good luck finding a new home for the f!
It's got too be worth saving!

Re: Ticking from rear offside?

Try jacking the back wheels off the ground and rotate and see if you can here a noise. I had a ticking sound with my grooved disks and new pads but it wasn't that loud as you could only here it at very slow speeds.
Good luck

Re: Hydragas regassing (again)

I would go for option 1( because I already have!) It makes a real difference and it keeps the car standard and costs down. Also it means you can have them topped up when needed. Spare spheres are still in plentiful supply at the moment should you need one! All other options are also okay but not opt...

Re: Ride height

This suspension is a bit odd in the way it works as both sides are connected together (lh &rh). First thing is your car parked on a flat piece of ground as this will alter it! Best thing to do is drive on a flat piece of road and measure the gap after. If it's still off there are two options ignore ...

Re: Miss firing and overheating

Try bleeding the system again and a new pressure cap.
I am not a expert but the caps can cause overheating if not working right

If you go for a gold colour for your wheels then black with gold writing for the calipers would look good!
