Thanks Nigel, I can't believe I spotted them, let alone talk the guy into letting me have them. From what I've read I think half the people on the forums want a set! Don't even know what they are let alone want them :twisted: Prefer to keep my owned since new 1996 MGF Mpi in it's original state. :sf:

Mine is a 1995 ordered MPi delivered in 1996 which we have owned since new. I waited for the warranty period to expire before fitting the K&N cone. The box can always be refitted !!

Check for leaks on the air filter and inlet - mine always makes a roar when I put my foot down BUT that is by design with a K&N filter.

I had this BUT it was the slave cylinder that was at fault.

For overseas breakdown cover on our 96 MGF I used Age UK - good price and cover BUT as I did not breakdown I can say how their service would be

Age UK covered our 1996 MGF for overseas breakdown and recovery at a very reasonable cost!

On our 1996 MPi the K&N cone filter is a must
