Intermittant overheating

Almost a year ago I had the head gasket replaced along with water pump, thermostat all belts and a service. The first time out on track two laps in and the temp gauge went flying up the dial, when coming into the pits the fire crew followed me in as there was so much steam they thought it could be o...

Re: How did these pass an MOT!!!!!

That is horrendous! They did not get it that state in the last four months, not unless this car has been driving along beaches in and out of the sea. I would go back to the garage that issued the MOT and have a word with the manager. I would make it clear that if I wasn't satisfied with the explana...

Re: MGF splitter in BRM Orange

We never had the BRM look on anything MG over here, and that's a pity. Don't worry about originality, your the one that owns it and drives it .

Re: What's the score with this TF?

It could be the engine, MG/SIA were going to bring out a kit to give more HP as they did not have a VVC variant. They had a couple being tested a the factory BUT i thought they were on later cars such as the LE500

Re: Now a member of the MONOGRAM Club ;-)

Ive just fitted 135 cams, 52mm throttle body and aluminium manifold to my zs 1.6 and it does improve the car well worth doing. I then had the ecu remaped by mark at mgf20 to a caterham supersport map(I think) and this has totaly transformed the car it revs and pulls much better than before and is m...

In my VVC before it was improved the best was 46MPG on a long trip, a mixture of city and a little country 32mpg

My TF 160 driving on an economy type run, I managed 50MPG and I was the worst!!!!! Average low 30's

They are in the center consul! They feel of when I first washed the car....

85th Anniversary Speed Stipes

I need the dimensions of the speed stripes that appear on the 85th Anniversary.
the distance from the bonnet edge width of the stripe then the gap before the thinner stripe then the width.
I am going to put them on my Black Pearl 80th in a color that match the Grenadine of the seats.
