Re: F1 Last Race 2007
:D I have been a fan of F1 for ages now. One of the best sporting days I've ever had was at Silverstone watching Nigel Mansell beating Piquet for the race win, Fantastic! as the great Murray Walker would say. But I am getting a little weary of all the politics that are coming to the fore, they have...

Re: F1 Last Race 2007
I think we had better agree to disagree about F1. The patriotism bit was meant in fun, didn't mean to offend.

Re: F1 Last Race 2007
What is all this defeatist tosh that we have nothing? Our little island is still either the 4th or 5th richest country in the world. We have engineering skills that are second to none as is proved by the number of F1 teams based in the UK and the number of Indy cars made here. No one wants to compe...

Re: F1 Last Race 2007
'... S o i would rather see the McLaren's win and support a British team and driver!! In my eyes Lewis Hamilton deserved to win the championship as i don't believe that it was a 'mistake' in China because an experienced team like McLaren would not be silly enough to make such an obvious mistake! It...

Re: The only thing it failed was the headlights ?!?!
Soooo .. This begs a question... has anyone, or does anyone know where I could get to headlight units??? Cheers Nick & Abbi[/quote] Hi Nick & Abbi. I've just bought a "brand new in the box" NS Headlight for my MGF on ebay for £95.95 including postage. There are a few on there so have a look if you w...

Re: Headlight units
Hi Nick, The heat from the bulbs deteriorate the reflectors. I'd removed my units some months ago and found the silvering easily wiped off the front parts. I've painted them matt black and hardly touched the main reflectors as I was worried I might damage them. I've seen better chrome plating on mo...

Re: Headlights
I had the same problem with my 1996 MGF. Didn't know until it failed MOT. Replacement is the easiest, but most expensive, solution because changing the bulbs will not make any difference. :x It's somrehing to do with the heat from the bulb's making the reflector behind the bulb deteriorate. Apparent...
