Well as David mentioned above, a mixed bag day , not one of our best BUT under the circumstances Paul and Tim did a grand job. The day was tinged with a little sadness as it came to light that Tim's Father had died, I'm sure all of the attendees like me, pass our condolences to Tim and his family at this very sad time.
The Nursery brekkies was truly fantastic and not to be missed, as already stated the 'Wings Museum' was extreamley busy as there were some of the original 'Bomber Boys' signing photos and books, and as you can see by my 'box brownie' photos we had to park in the 'farmyard' cow poo and all, DaveM boxed cleaver and found a clear patch...Yes overall a good day here's to the next outing...

Re: Drive It Day..27th April 2014
Nice relaxed day out -which was the intention - an excuse to get out on Drive it Day . Fry up at the Priory Farm was good and a nice way to start the morning off - that's two breakfast meets in a row now and we've got the next Brooklands one coming up soon as well ! A Sat Nav run across Surrey and through Gatwick, including the tunnel, yes Marty we could hear you! Wings Museum was a bit smaller than expected but made for an interesting destination even if we did park up in the farmyard and associated "sludge". We split from there and three of us went to Brooklands for the MX5 National - no we didn't manage to pretend our Fs were Mazdas but it was 3 versus about 900 ! Nice to see new faces Dave and Amanda and hope to see you again at a meet soon along with Ellie (I see what you did there!).
