RH11 9YA is the M&S Simply Food at the Services so should get you in the general area, however, it is easy to find.

As I assume the majority of you will be coming from the north! You want M25 J7 for the M23, head south (towards Gatwick) carry on to J11 of the M23, exit here, take the first exit off the roundabout then first right into the services!

As you go into the services the road goes straight ahead for fuel or to the left for parking, go round to the left then follow round to the exit, as you start to go back on yourself there is a nice long row of parking spaces perfect for a line of Fs and TFs!

Hello all,

Have just finished typing up the route and creating lots of tulip symbols! Just a couple of thoughts, there is a stop at the halfway point but I am not sure there will be any facilities there so you may want to bring a flask of something hot! When I went round last Sunday there was an Ice Cream van nearby for those more adventurous!

Looking forward to it, hope you will all enjoy and manage to follow my directions!

Run is looking good and a nice brisk sunny day should let us have the tops down with any luck

Any latecomers please sign up now - we'd love to see some new faces as we're venturing into a part of the region we don't get to often !

:D

Good run but I never want to see Kidds Hill again, by the way don't think I did see it after all, never mind a GREAT effort from Graham made it a very enjoyable day.

See you all at the Jovial Sailor for our Xmas bash.

Thanks all, glad you enjoyed the run.

The weather was certainly out for us, can't believe how much it changed from arriving in driving rain to setting off in light drizzle and dropping the hood after only about 5 miles! Blue skies the rest of the way!

Sorry about the "deliberate" mistake Ian, if I do (or are allowed to do) any more runs I'll avoid Kidds Hill and make sure the directions are correct!

Thanks Graham - worked really well and the sun was a bonus and we managed our two minutes silence at the start which was nice. Although the hoods were down I didn't notice much business a tthe ice cream van at the hlaf way point - nice hot roast beef was a lot more welcome at the Parson's Pig !

Well done - I'm sure we'll see you organising one before too long !

Don't worry Iain, I am almost famous in work for missing motorway junctions, have frequently missed the M4 turning, although in my defence I do use the M40 quite a lot as well! My best one, to date, was on the M42 while all the roadworks were going on for the M6 Toll, I missed the M6 exit and had to go about 30 miles out of my way to turn around and comeback!

My other favourite trick is take the wrong motorway entrance at the M40 services in Oxford, either heading towards London when I should be going to Birmingham or vice versa!
