I really ought to get this booked I reckon.

I think the Fairmile could be a suitable venue again and we should be able to book in there again for an Xmas dinner.

Friday 14th December is the date but I'll need some idea of who is coming so I know how many to book for and looking at the other regions most of them seem to be beating me on this one already !

So who can join us for the SEF Xmas Dinner and fantastic Hot Wheels Awards Ceremony ?

Hi Tim,

Thanks for organising the Christmas meal, I cannot believe how quickly this year has gone past.

I will have to confirm nearer the time as there's a chance I will be travelling on business but if I'm here I will come along.

At the risk of sounding rude, have your booked the Fairmile or are there any other venues in the running? I really didn't enjoy the food last year and went away with an upset tummy

Sorry to hear that Angela - I hadn't heard of anyone else having a problem but I could be wrong !

We are actually thinking of the Fairmile again but may look at eslewhere - I havn't actually made an enquiry yet as I'm waiting for an idea of numbers.

I'm building up towards booking a venue now - anymore takers before I commit myself ?

The venue will be the Jovial Sailor , Portsmouth Road, Ripley, Surrey.

This is just a few miles down the A3 towards Guildford from Junction 10 - or a few miles from Guildford along the A3 towards Junction 10 depending which way you are going !

Cost will be £22.95 per person and will consist of a full four course menu. I'll e-mail the menu when I get them.

I'll need a deposit but I don't know how much at present!

Trasnforce - welcome aboard - we'd love to see you at the Xmas gathering - this is our annual shindig where we have Xmas dinner and give out our south east region awards - that sounds rather formal but its not really and neither are we ! It's more of a natter with some decent grub thrown in ! We did a quiz last year so may well repeat that as well this time - basically a good opportunity to meet up with us !
