Hi all

Its come round so soon but its time for our Furry Friends to take the limelight once more. John and myself have been beavering away hard to come up with this years event.

Bewl Water in kent are our host's for the day, Sunday July 6th from around 10.00 am we have our own very special section of tarmaced main car park directly in front of the club house and main attractions, where we'l have the Gasebo and adhoc car display. Also we have managed to get a special entry rate of £4.00 per car to park in this area of the car park. ( normally general entry is £4 per person )

On the day we'll have the, whats becoming the highly competive teddy bear fancy dress competation to be judged by Bewl's own Bertie the beaver and Jen the events manager. On top of that there will be the light hearted treasure hunt to be compeleted over the course of the day for bears and owner's alike. Our visit is also to be featured on there own website to http://www.Bewlwater.co.uk

Also to make the day we have managed to arrange a special combined onsite sit down two course lunch in there very own licenced resteraunt over looking the waterside, then followed by a 45 min boat trip around Bwel. @ 17.95 per head / 15.95 per head for senior's ( JW has the menu and details to follow ), the only thing to qualify for this special off is we need a miminum of 6 people , but to its well worth a look to do the activity separtely works out consideribly more.

Hope to see you all there for what promises to be a great day out

Andy :thumbsu:

As Andy says, we are lucky to have a parking area roped off 'end to end' including the road, for us to park and show our MG's, and will take at least 30 cars.
The Cruise and Lunch deal offer is subject to pre-booking and a minimum of 6people at least 2weeks before the 6th July 2014. Please let me know if you wish to take up this offer, besides the special offer menu the Waterside Cafe also offers a menu to suit most tastes.

Thank you to everyone so far that has put their names forward to support this years 'Teddy Bear' picnic, Andy has brought to my attention that there may be a confusion on who would like to take up the 'Boat trip / Lunch offer'. Please could you confirm yes or no, as it will help us to book in time as requested by Jenny at Bewl Water..

This truly looks like a great day out, as the web page states, you can take the Boat Trip without the lunch, Go cycling, Explore the vast area by walking or just Relaxxxxxxx :D
http://www.bewlwater.co.uk/main-page.php?section=2

We have of course as always a special 'Treasure Hunt' and the now famous 'Best Dressed Teddy Bear' competition all with 'Hand Picked' prizes from Bexhill's Arts & Crafts Shops (AgeUk, Scope, British Heart Foundation and many more), looks like that Dave and Karen are taking this pretty serious this year, can they retain their 'Champions' title..will they win again?
