Just had to stop at bewl Water today when I saw this sign!, we now have 24cars with a possible 3more.

So, looking forward to Sunday we now have the Radio Controlled MG 'mini' Auto Gymkhana, you will need a team of two for each car, plus we have a 'Boule' competition where you can have teams of 1,2 or 3people.

Just a reminder about the 'special' Boat trip and Meal offer that Andy has negotiated, there are still spaces left as the deal is based on a minimum of 6 people, please see Andy on arrival so he can arrange your booking.

Looks like 'Bewl Water Country Park' are pushing our 'Teddy Bear' picnic event, just had a phone call from my freind Yvonne to say take a look in this months 'What's On' magazine page 11...and there we are! here's a link to the on line version..

Congratulations to Sophie who won the best dressed bear competition with her "Princess" bear. I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure she is our youngest ever prizewinner !! Here she is with her prizewinning bear and Bertie the Beaver who did the judging.
Thanks go to John and Andy for fantastic organisation as usual and to everyone for their generous donations to Age UK.

Sorry that my thanks is a little late to those who made the contributions to the 'AgeUk' charity, I think it was in the region of £80 perhaps Tim could clarify, the bulk being from 'Heather and Ray' who brought the 'Remote Control Cars, and accessories, and Ron & Joan who bought the small 'Harrods Teddybear'..
And on a very sad note as you know Andy and Heather were unable to attend because Heathers Dad was taken ill, I have since heard from Andy that Heathers dad passed away the following week.
