Brooklands MG Day 10th April

Post by TimM » Wed Feb 24, 2016 11:29 pm

We are having a coming of age theme to this year's MG day and I'm hoping we can get a good number of monogram cars to take part for a colourful display.

I will be issuing Register passes as per last year for those who want to join us in the Register area so if you can let me know that you want to join us please pm or email me or put your name here and send your address separately if I don't know it already! These are not tickets.

Advance tickets are available now and MGCC members can get an advance discount by sending this form in:-
http://www.mg-cars.org.uk/mgccse/events ... %20(1).pdf

Entrance is £11 per adult on the day or free for Brooklands Trust Members.

Don't forget I'm particularly looking for monogram cars so if you have one please indicate below:-

I'll be there Tim.

It's on our calendar as you know so I expect half a dozen from my region so please reserve space for us.

I'll mention it at our next meeting on Wednesday and tell them to get their tickets booked. Please use my address for all passes to save postage unless you bring them to the AGM.
Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.

Hi Tim, we would love to join in the coming of age celebrations with Zip as he is 21 this year.

Although not monogram, he is Amaranth so quite colourful.

We will be joining the run on Sunday after the AGM so could collect the pass then if your happy for us to join in.

Many thanks Jane & Rob.

Thanks Keith, works fine. I've printed out a copy for the Essex Region. Can anybody tell me (as many of us will be affected) at what age is senior ?

I saw that too Steve but I can't see how they would check that unless it pops up on the address when you send it in.

Tim, so far 6 cars, no monograms. 4 TF's, one ZT V8 and one ZS.

We are going to need a proper list soon so I can send passes out - please email me at tim.morris@mgfregister.org or pm here with you address if I don't know it already!. Passes will only be needed for MGF or TFs parking in the Register area, any other models will likely be in general MG mixed parking as per last year. At the moment I can't confirm our parking area as they havn't sorted the plan out yet but I have requested the same area as last year. It would help if I had an early idea of how many would like to join us. The passes are not an entry ticket but will help Marshalls point you to the Register area, you'll need a separate ticket either in advance or on the day.

Regarding the discount form - I should think that would be OK if any MGCC members use it although I suspect most will be South East. Seniors are considered to be aged 60yrs or over.

So far I have

Stand area - Can any reps please bring regional flags as we'd like a nice flying display!.
TimM
Jane & Rob
Adrian - plus some more from Essex (I'll need to know who)
I suspect some South Easters will put their names down soon!

Monograms
Dave J - Poseidon
Dave T - Shot Silk
Jim P - Spectre
Karl - Typhoon
Verity - Orange Grove
