Looking foward to a nice run  - hood down hopefully  . Sunday roast & a pint of something warming -Perfect. + a couple of interesting cars to check out . We saw a crystal white L.E. 500 on launch day & were very impressed.Looking foward to seeing one in action, might be a slightly off white by the end of the run! + what are these rumours of a U.Y.C. (unidentified yellow car) seen around the byways of Kent . :o

Keep me informed, I should be able to make it, the TF should be half decent by then.

Unfortunately David is being coy, it seems that KKE is no more

That's a shame Rick I was looking forward to catching up again. Does that mean that Purple Haze now has a slotted front ?

Glad to say that I won't be having that trouble for much longer :D

Did a test run round yesterday and apart from a dodgy bit in the middle which I need to try and reroute it is pretty much done!

Start Point is Starbucks in Hooley - Starbucks don't seem to have added it to their Website, it is there - I promise!.

Directions from M25, at Junction 7 for the M23 take M23 North (Croydon) - Follow to the end of the motorway and onto the A23. After you've gone under the bridge take the next right, you will be able to see Starbucks from here.

A little advice! The immediate entrance to the car park has a speed bump which will scrape your underside (ooh err!) continue on the service road and there is another entrance to the car park on the right which has no speed bump!

Finish will be the Rubbing House on Epsom Downs : http://www.rubbinghouse.com/

The route as it currently stands has acheived my aim of staying within the M25 but on mainly B or country type roads with scenery!

I don't know the area so have been perusing Google maps etc, found a Starbucks at 119 London Rd (or 119 Brighton Hooley Rd, or 119 Someother name I don't remember - with three different post codes - but that is another issue) and it seems to me that if the bridge is where I think it is then, travelling north, the turn has to be to the left, not right.

Am I lost?

Whoooaa this must be a first! To follow the instructions provided, and then get lost, all a week before the run even takes place!!! :P That's jumping the gun, surely Murray!

If it's all the same to you lot, I'll be getting lost on the day thanks! :thumbsu:

I have been known to get my left and rights mixed up, but it is definitely on the right. Basically if you approach from the M23, just after you have gone onto the A23 you will see it up on the right (it's an old Little Chef)

Nope, haven't done a proper dry run yet without getting lost! I would imagine somewhere between 2 and 3 but once I've done the full run (without taking wrong turnings) I'll let you know.

I think you're after all our MGF Register records Murray ! First person to register an LE500 and now first person to get lost before a run !! Top stuff.

I'm sure we'll find it somehow Graham !

Thanks for sorting this out for us :D
