M20/M26 Closure

Post by David A » Mon Oct 06, 2008 1:11 am

Sorry to anyone who was held up on the M20 & M26 Coastbound on Friday afternoon! The Highways Agency were doing a fine job extricating a certain Anthracite Trophy from the cones on the hard shoulder, into which it had been pushed and spun round by one of Norbert Dentressangle's finest! :o :(
The driver seems okay :) but KKE is looking very second-hand at the moment :(
It remains to be seen whether David & Michelle will be "efFing" in the near future....

David - what have you done !!!!!

That's terrible news - I take it you are all OK ?

This sounds a little bit worse than the normal scratches you manage to put on the bumpers !

Fingers crossed that this is not the end of KKE . :(

Well, here I am outside MG land in limbo....

First of all, thanks for all your kind words folks, and you're right Tim it has been painful...

Suffice to say my opinion of insurance companies hasn't improved for the better...!

A month on, and they're still batting my claim between each other and their cronies, saying that because there's a foreign driver involved, any settlement could take months and months.... :sf:

I'm fully resigned that KKE will be a write-off, but it remains to be seen when... :sf:

Meanwhile, all is not lost - watch this space, and leave space for Michelle & me at the Dog House!

Sorry to hear that Dave. Let's hope the insurance companies manage to get their act together soon . I'm guessing by your last line that you may be on the look out for a little something else ....?

Flippin' heck Dave! That'll teach me for not visiting the forum more regularly. Glad to hear you're ok, it sounds nasty :( Best of luck with KKE, hope it turns out ok.

Just heard about this last night at the Essex Roadsters meet - can't believe it, really, really sad news.

Honestly, i know we put a lot of packaging 'Wotzits' in KKE on the wedding day but this is a bit of an extreme way of cleaning them out!

Hope you are (both?) OK and that the Insurance companies stop playing silly b*ggers soon.
