Re: pub meet
Yes it was a bit of a shock to turn up last night to that scene. Terrible shame about the F as David says it was a nice car.
I've just heard from Oli who passes on his and Faz's thanks to everyone who helped out last night.
Faz was checked over at A&E after they got back and she's OK apart from a bit of whiplash. Oli's got a few aches in places he didn't know he had but other than that seems OK as well thankfully.
Let's hope the pains disappear soon...anyone know of a nice red MGF for sale ?

Re: pub meet
Hi all,
Thanks for all your support last night, it made things much, much easier. Doing ok, just a few aches. The hire car has already been delivered and her insurance has admitted full blame. The assesor should be having a look next week and we will keep you posted. Im sure we all know the results of that. Determined to get a good price and source a new MGF or TF asap.
Thanks again and see you at the Bunny Blast in one of those well known MG Alfas or MG Honda Civic 2.2 tdi.
If anybody saw the accident and would be willing to be a witness for the hire car company (NOT insurance claim reasons) that would be useful. No worries if not.
Faz/ Oli

Re: pub meet
Hi Faz and Oli,
although I just stumbled across this thread it's always good to hear that at least the two of you weren't seriously hurt in the incident. Best wishes from my side and get well soon!
Unfortunately from what I take from the posts, your MG isn't that well off. As I keep an occasional eye on F's to import from the UK, I remembered a 51-reg MPi, most likely nightfire red, somewhere in your area. It's on Autotrader here, might be worth having a look. Sadly there's only one pic attached, so not too much to take from the ad.
All the best,
Mykel

Re: pub meet
Glad your OK Faz which is the main thing...oh and Oli as well of course !
Such a shame about the F though as it was a really nice one. I think we can guess the outcome of the assessor visit but I'd love to be proved wrong.
