AUTUMN BOWLING CHALLENGE - Thursday 18th October

Post by TimM » Tue Oct 09, 2007 1:30 pm

It's that time already - the second South East Bowling Challenge of the year takes place on Thursday 18th October.

So who is going to come along to the Spectrum in Guildford and challenge us this time - hopefully the bowlers from the Spring Challenge will return in the hope of carrying a fabulous hot wheels trophy at the Xmas dinner. Paul is currently leading the field with 253 points (how did that happen ?). If you havn't been before then don't worry we're not very good (apart from the Maverick who we always handicap anyway ) so you won't be embarrassed !!

I need to know who can come as I have to know how many lanes to book so please add to the list below which is a bit short at the moment !

Strangely, another club I'm a member of, is also going bowling at the Spectrum on Thursday - so it would be churlish not to turn up at all! Abby and I would like to join you...

That's a shame Ian - but it does mean we have vacancies for some more that have ventured to the bwoling aley before - come along now you know you want to !!

TimM (& a non bowling Liz possibly)
Rob & Elaine (if her sore shoulder is better)
Paul (to see if i can find that zone again
Kevin (To show us how it should be done)
Adrian (possibly but not sure)
Mark and Abby
Em and Adam

I have booked two lanes for 8pm at the Guildford Spectrum - we have ten bowlers so room for two more ?

What's new ?

Sorry to keep you waiting whilst I ate my Pizza and Chips by the way !!

Congrats to Kev for regaining his crown so cruelly snatched by Paul at the Spring Challenge. At least Paul had an excuse this time - bowlers elbow !

I'll post some pics including the Maverick in action and the results when I can . :thumbsu:

Good to see Mark & Abby at this one and also tos ee that Mark has broken his one event a year log jam in 2007 !
