Agreed Stu. Excellent day out with great company and unusually good weather. Glad you got into your boot - I'm looking forward to the "how to" in a couple of weeks. Off now to try to cool down my forehead.

Great Day, fantastic weather and great company, super to meet all you good West country folk and those from over the bridge the South Wales F'ers
Impresive turn out I thought and some very nice F's/TF's
Stu, sorry about this, your red face, well it is "there but for the grace of God" etc. Anyway caught for posterity,
Triumph! and the man who can.
Until next time all, keep 'em shiny side up

Thanks so much to Colin for the tickets, it's been several years since we'd been to this as a group and it was enjoyed thoroughly by all who accompanied SWMGF
A few pics from the day.
Our first meet point at Magor Services -
A quick fix whilst waiting at the Compass Inn -
It was good to see the flags all flying -
Entertainment was provided by a couple of the newer SWMGF members -

A few of us however preferred to take the bus -
Great day, and we all look forward to the next one

Count me in for 2014, haven't ben for a few years, but won't be doing Combe on track next year, so that will have to be my "fix".

Who knows, I might be able to make it myself (depending on date)
I just hope some of SWMGF learn to drive by then - totally out of control looking at the pics above, and a potential liability to other track users

Re: Sat 29th June'13 Classic Action Day at Castle Combe
Not an uncommon sight when people get out on track and the red mist comes up. I spoke to the guy in the green F, he was completely unaware of MGs-on-Track and what we do So we had a long chat and I gave them both a couple of our brochures, they were very keen to register with us and hopefully before next year they will have had at least one day with us and some instruction
Cheers,
Martin
