I couldn't make it either :( was down the police station giving further statement after a crazy woman attacked my girlfriend and I.

She has dented the hell out of my bonnet, broken my left wingmirror and as for my gf's clio it's been trashed, dents everywhere and to boot she ripped of the passenger side wiper arm (not the blad the arm!) as well as the rear wiper arm too. We've replaced the wipers since and I've bodged my wing mirror but all in all a massive shame as I was looking forward to the day for months :( not to mention I now have to source a bonnet and wingmirror (although it is just the casing I need, actual glass and electric mechanism are all fine I just cant see anything as the collar on the part of the wingmirror cover snapped while the crazy woman was twisting it and it now doesn't allow me to raise the glass far enough, I am constantly looking at the floor but hopefully this can be an easy fix with a new cover set)

Thanks Colin - it was crazy - like something from a horror film. We only stopped to help as some kids asked us and then she turned on us! There was a car parked up down a lane we drive down to muck the horses out my gf rides, we pulled down it and there was a stopped car and some kids ran up asking us to help as there was a crazy bird in their mates car and it just went from there. There was no escape and she wouldn't be reasoned with and eventually she got to trashing the cars!

She jumped on my gfs bonnet causing her to reverse into a fence then proceeded to try and smash the drivers window with her elbow with threats to kill! Luckily she did get detained by the police and is awaiting Magistrates on the 8/12. We think she will plead not guilty but the police saw her jump on the bonnet of the clio and she damaged 3 cars. Me and my gf got off light. The kid who was already there lost both his indicator stalks in his little VW! He had to drive around with it all spraying and going off although he has now fixed his (£36 for the part and he fitted it himself) but what a palaver.

As I say, completely surreal and an experience I do not intend to repeat, ever!

That's great news, will be along next year, next time I'll take a ride in the GT40, and Sheila still wants to try an Audi R8 , though I suspect she will find it disappointing after her ride this year in the V12 Vantage,
