News from Castle Combe Sports Car Action Day - Change of Date to 30/06/2012


After consultation with many clubs, customers, partners and traders it was clear that there was growing unease amongst the classic and sports car fraternity regarding our choice of date for this year’s Classic and Sports Car Action Day.

Although we had announced the date early it has become increasingly clear that with the long announced Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, the extra Bank Holiday and the pushing back of the half term, that running at the end of that week was causing many long-term supporters to rethink their plans.

We have therefore made the decision to change the date to Saturday 30th June.

This has been welcomed by many clubs who have already been informed of the change since the decision earlier this week. All our normal terms and conditions for the event will remain the same and a revised booking form can be downloaded from our website.

We hope that this change of date will allow more clubs and individual owners to attend and we look forward to receiving your application and to seeing you on the day.

    30 June is Armed Forces Day. I may have to opt out of Combe, but will delete my name from the list well before the event if necessary.
