Hi Ian,

I hope you are well and looking forward to Jersey?

The final documents will be posted this week, so should be with you and your group by next week.

If you want to park as a group of MG F’s together, my best advice is to brief everyone to leave the hotel at the same time, and thus arrive at the people’s park all together at the same time.

As part of your package with us, you have entry, if you wish, to both Saturday & Sunday parking at the People’s park. However, the parking is not allotted, so you will be parked as you arrive.

We have had groups park together without an issue in the past, you just need to ensure everyone arrives together at the people’s park entrance so as you can be parked together.

The hotel have informed me of a change of location for the welcome drink when you arrive on 1st June.

It will now be on Bonneti’s Terrace outside the Bonneti’s Restaurant – which is located in the Merton Hotel.

You can use the voucher we have already sent you in exchange for your drink.

Myself and Joy from the Scenic team will be there to welcome you!

Well the TF is all ready for the off tomorrow, but one thing that has dawned on us is travel insurance, Jersey has a reciprocal agreement for health treatment but if you need repatriation etc not covered??
I suppose it's a risk you take??

Hi Neil, I have European breakdown cover but the recovery bit is a bit of a grey one as they will only do up to the value of the car to repatriate, and our toys do not cover. I've taken the option with RAC that they will pay market rate and we would pay the rest, instead of them just saying tough!

The reciprocal health agreement between the UK and Jersey is A & E only. I take out travel insurance for visiting the UK.

I've got a mad dash from Barnsley this afternoon....

There's a lovely old pub on Thames Street just off the quay called The King Charles that's a 5 min walk from the Travelodge, so might try and make a pint!

Well we've all now been there, done that, but sadly you won't be getting a T-Shirt

I really do hope that you all, and yes that does include you Gethin, enjoyed your holiday with fellow Register members, I think it was a nice relaxed time, and glad everyone set off in little groups round the island doing differing things as the car parks didn't have much space, we struggled at a couple with just three cars! The ferry trip in the end wasn't as bad as thought neither

You all should be receiving an email from Nicola of S&C with a link to a satisfaction survey, please do fill it in or if you have any comments you would rather pass to me, then please do, good or bad.

Lastly I'd like to say thanks for supporting the idea and taking the gamble, and I would be certainly up for doing something on the same lines again in 2018. What's your thoughts ?
