Well done guys. Good to see the region supporting this - and having fun at the same time.

Martin must have passed my front door getting from Beer to Exeter - sorry I missed you.

Thought we passed you at 12.30 ish in the TF, too embarrased to wave

Thanks for smooth hand over this afternoon Martin, nice to meet you & Christine (great photo's)

    Now tiz with uz.

Our intention was to call in at The Warren House Inn, one of the five highest pubs in the land & said to be the loneliest. About three miles to go & it started to rain so on went the wipers - NOTHING, managed to get to the Warren House Inn before the rain became too heavy, checked the obvious all OK there. Decided to get off the moor asap so as we had our support vehicle with us we sent Lee in front in his VVC and followed his lights. Very strange but only after 500 yards the wipers decided to work.

Well done, Pete, Lin and Lee. Very impressed with the overnight security arrangements.

Steve - it wasn't me. I had the TF down in Buckfastleigh today playing with steam trains. Good thing though, I'd have been too embarrassed to wave back.

After stopping at the Kingsley statue we drove on to Westward Ho! - the only place in the British Isles with an exclamation mark at the end of its name - which was named after the novel of the same name by Charles Kingsley
Sign welcoming visitors to Westward Ho!
      Image
Down in the village we stopped to take a couple of pictures showing the view across Bideford Bay and beyond

Hard top is now resting for the night before further exploits tomorrow!

Have now edited this posting as I now know how to use Photobucket :D

Its a long time, a very long time probably about 30 years since I've been to Lands End, I can't believe how commercialised it’s become, unbelievable, why do people in this country have to exploit and spoil everything :thumbsd:
