I no doubt will pop along for the weekend, always a good venue..... Mind you I stumbled into the Dutch tent.....man do they know how to hold a party ...! So the VR crowd will be in attendance .... Something tells me you will spot me and my trusty camera around these cars .......

All 8 cars will be displayed in the arena on both days so there will be a great opportunity to get pictures without crowds around them. To get 8 out of the 30 built is quite a feat and several are travelling a long way (Sweden and the south of France for example).

If you camp then you can go in the Dutch tent, worth it just for that.

It's the later Neil. I didn't participate last year but judging from the condition my fellow campers were in the following morning, I think a good time was had by all.

Honorary MG Car Club member and rising BTCC star Sam has been creating a storm on the BTCC circuit in his first full season with the MG KX Momentum Team and will be attending the opening day of the weekend long event at Silverstone in June.

Sam has already enjoyed a string of top-ten finishes this season and was made cover star of May’s SafetyFast magazine.

The 24 year old driver isn’t the only star MG Motor UK will be bringing to MGLive! Also attending the world’s largest collection of MG’s will be the replica 2013 BTCC MG KX Momentum MG6!

This will be one of the first public events for people to see the MG6 in its race car livery, and what better venue could you possibly pick than the home of British racing? Don’t forget to bring your camera along for a few snaps!

MG Car Club Manager Julian White said: “We’re delighted to welcome both Sam and the replica BTCC car to MGLive! MG has a great history steeped in Motorsport and it’s great to see this continue through young competitors such as Sam.”

To celebrate the news, MG Motor UK are giving away a pair of VIP tickets to the penultimate round of the BTCC in Silverstone! This includes entry for both Saturday qualifying and Sunday race day and admission to the MG KX Momentum hospitality suite where you may get the opportunity to meet Sam and BTCC record race winner, Jason Plato.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this VIP experience is book your ticket to MGLive! before May 31st. Those who have already booked their ticket will be automatically entered into the competition.

The winner will be announced on Monday June 3rd.

MGLive! is held at Silverstone on June 15th and 16th. Tickets start from just £16.50 for MG Car Club members, and can be purchased from here or by calling Kimber House on 01235 555552.

I am running the Arena events this year and I am looking for a volunteer to have their car (or more than one as they can be changed) to be placed in the arena for Russ Swift to drive round.

It may be scary to see him getting so close to your car but the opportunity is there if you want a go.

Russ will be making four appearances on Saturday and three on Sunday so the role can be shared.
