Re: MGF20 - 1st August 2015
Adrian,
Look forward to meeting up again. Looks like we'll be at the New Forest run this June - some other Jersey MGOC members are interested rather than do our usual French trip. Also planning to go to the Cricket St. Thomas bash in September. One problem - my dj has shrunk!!

Angie and I have ordered our MGF20 ticket but I'm not so keen on camping (even though Angie is ), is there a preferred hotel for fellow "non-campers" ?

Re: MGF20 - 1st August 2015
The camping tickets have gone live on the Heritage Motor Museum site today Buy your camping tickets
The advanced ticket price is £25 for one night or £34 for two. This price covers the price per unit, be it a tent or caravan and is not per person.
The camping meadow has changed significantly since our last visit. The meadow has turned into a road way for driver trials with good grassed areas in between. As the area may be in use for other activities, arrival on the Friday afternoon has to be after 16:00 hours. We have access to the camping area until 16:00 on the Sunday afternoon. The area will be marshaled by a Gaydon security guard though out the weekend. There is now a purpose built shower block within the main camping area. The toilet block is still in the same place and is a short walk from the camping zone.
Camping passes will be available on the day, but rise to £31 per night and £40 for two nights.

Re: MGF20 - 1st & 2nd August 2015
With 109 days still to run until MGF20, I am pleased to announce that we have the first 100 cars booked into the event.
100 cars will fill half of one of the aprons in front of the museum.
Advanced ticket holders will get the prime parking positions and we should have a great photo opportunity with the parking areas filled with the MGF/TFs.

Re: MGF20 - 1st & 2nd August 2015
Hi there,
I'd really like to attend this event and order my ticket in advance... but I don't have an MGF/TF.
Can I buy the ticket online? It's asking for model and vin but as I don't have an MGF these details seem irrelevant for me.
I have previously owned 2 MGF's and a TF, the 2 MGF's bought brand new in 1998 & 1999 (and it would be fantastic if I got to see them again at the event).
Thanks,
Richard.

Re: MGF20 - 1st & 2nd August 2015
There is an option on the online shop just to buy either one or two museum tickets only. If you are not bringing an MG you do not need a show ticket as part of this package is for entering your car in the show. Non MGs will be parked in the general outer car park area. When you order your museum ticket/s, please ensure that the show ticket number shows - , this will allow you to then just buy 1 or 2 musem tickets.fergusor wrote:Hi there,

If you are not bringing a MGF/TF or other MG, then please just fill out the details requested with any random letters. We have requested the car details to help us with the parking at MGF20 and to try and check and if need be update the details in the Register. The other option, is to buy your advanced tickets at MGLive if you are intending to go to that show.
