MGLive! - MGF20 Anniversary Display
MGLive! - MGF20 Anniversary display
We have been offered the chance to have an extra two cars on show this year as we are celebrating our 20th anniversary.
This will also help us promote MGF20.
We have space for two MGFs which will be placed on the veranda of the main club marquee.
The cars will have to be in place by 08:00 on the Saturday morning and remain in place until 17:00 on the Sunday.
It would be good to see two MGFs from the selection below on display
1. Abingdon LE
2. 75th Anniversary LE
3. Mk2 / MY2000 MGF
4. MGF Steptronic
5. Wedgwood SE
6. Trophy 160
7. MGF 1.6i
8. MGF Freestyle
If you would like to offer your car for this display please post here or PM or email me via chair@mgfregister.org

Keith I would be more than happy to have my Abingdon on display, but I have put in for the Cali Cup and also the parade lap, so I guess unless I can move between these three things then not sure i would want to miss out on the other things?

Sorry Chris. Once on display the car can't be moved so you would miss out on the other activities. Pity as a 75th would be a good car to have on show.

I believe we have one of the extra cars needed for the veranda display.
We are still looking for one more to complete our MGF20 anniversary display.

Re: MGLive! - MGF20 Anniversary Display
Still looking for two cars for the veranda display.
The one car offered so far had to pull out tonight
As we have not had much interest so far for Fs to take part in the display, are there any TFs that would like to be on show during the weekend?
If I do not get any interest by the start of next week, I will let Kimber House know and they can offer the extra spaces to either the MGA or MGB registers to celebrate their anniversaries

We now have an offer of a very early MGTF.
It would be great to see a MGF sitting along side it on the veranda of the main club marquee.

Re: MGLive! - MGF20 Anniversary Display
We are still looking for a MGF for display on the main marquee veranda to help us celebrate and promote MGF20.
I have heard tonight that the car can now be moved on the Saturday night if that helps anyone make a decision to offer their car. The car will need to be in place early 08:00 ish and wont be able to move until at least when the main marquee shuts for the day but it does mean you can drive off site or home in the evening.
It would be a pity to offer the space to either the MGA or MGB Register who are also celebrating anniversaries this year.
