Dinner in the Dog House

Post by alistair » Mon Oct 29, 2007 9:34 am

Some of those staying overnight on 1 December are planning to eat together that evening. The proprietors like to know in advance how many are dining together so that they can arrange the restaurant accordingly. So let's start a list!

Alistair & Carol
Dave & Trish

NB those living/staying nearby are welcome to join in.

I would love to join you all for dinner but it appears that I shall be attending a surprise 90th birthday celebration for Mother in Law on the Saturday.

I have booked a table for 14 (7:30 for 8) - hope this meets with everybody's approval! Booking is in my name, but they know it's for the MG nutters. :thumbsu:

Glad to hear there's a party again this year. Hope there is as much eye candy as last year, or more. :thumbsu:

I will no doubt be castigated for such un PCC (politically correct crap) comments!

ooops! an accountant who can't count! (plenty of them about)

No problem - I will inform them as they prefer advance notice, but they will accomodate a few extras. First time we stayed we had nothing arranged so each couple ate seperately having never met before, but soon gravitated to a group round 1 table. It didn't seem to phase the hotel staff - they just kept bringing the drinks. ;) Image Image

Still not too late for others to join us!

19 booked, but puts pressure on staff at Dog House as they have an Xmas do that evening. They would greatly appreciate us placing our food orders as early as possible. If you are staying perhaps you could look at the menu soon after you arrive and advise them of your requirements?

They are being very accommodating (possible profit motive!) so it behoves us to be the same (satisfying hunger motive!)

Thanks everybody - see you Saturday!

Safe journeys all.
