OK - I'm struggling a bit to trace the hard Top now - The Facebook trail is pretty tricky but thanks to Ron & Joan for putting their update here!

However here goes......

I think Marc gave the Hard Top back to Dave T in Kent and then DaveT took it to the Herts Natter where it was handed over to Bill & Angie who took it to the Highlander in Scotland and back to Herts for their next meeting at the Crown when it went back to DaveT again who took it to Kimber House to hand over to Simon Davies who has taken it to the North West for a couple of weeks (or something like that!).

If I'm right and it did go to Scotland it would be great to see some pics of it as I can't find any from that event anywhere! (Unless someone can point me in the right direction). If I'm wrong perhaps someone involved can put me right with some added pictures!

Here is the photographic evidence I have gleaned from the Facebooks so far......

Just a reminder that the Hard Top Relay is running as a charity event in aid of Guide Dogs.

Donations for having the hard top on your car can be made through our MyDonate page at https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/mgfregister2016
If you are a UK taxpayer and make a personal donation (collections not allowed) you can claim Gift Aid allowing your donation to be increased by 25% at no additional cost to yourself aided by the UK tax man :thumbsu:

I know some people don't like the idea of having a hard top on their car even for charity but you can still join in the fun by making a donating to NOT have the hard top on your car

The hard top was passed from the East Midlands region onto David Peterson from the Anglia region at MGLive!

David managed to get Ant Anstead to sign the roof lining ...

Here's a pic of the Handover which took place at Silverstone with the MG Motor Crew in front of their stand and the new MG GS (inexplicably hidden by the Hardtop here though!)

It's coming to the Essex Region this Sunday.

It will go to a huge car show in Maldon on Sunday 3/7, the Queen Vic on 10/7 then the Uxbridge Car Show on 17/7 where it will be handed over to the Thames Valley region.

In between it will be busy going to the Angel of the North, local sights and it will accompany us on route testing for the Tunnels & Bridges event.

From Thames Valley it will come back to Essex in time for the MGCC SE summer event at Chatham Docks then on to Germany where it will remain until 24/9 and the Tunnels & Bridges event itself.

Having been rather busy this week, the hard top hasn't done much mileage so last night it went with us to London for route testing for the Tunnels & Bridges.

It's a bit difficult to stop and take pictures while getting the route perfect so here's one at the start point Simons Diner in Wimbledon

It will be at Maldon on Sunday for another handover within the Essex region.

Handed over to Tony & Jackie with our regional Tango, it will be at the Queen Vic show in Billericay on Sunday then up north with Malcolm & Chris to pose at the Angel of the North before going to Thames valley at the Uxbridge Show on the 17th.
