Re: Thames Bridges & Tunnels 2016
As sunset is scheduled for 6.53pm, a little earlier than previous runnings we can set the first cars off at 6.30pm so you will be at the hotel with plenty of time for drinks before bed.
Therefore, please arrive by 5.30 so you can eat, drink and prepare (study the Roadbook) before setting off.

Re: Thames Bridges & Tunnels 2016
All cars need to be pre-booked onto this event.
We are approximately half way to the maximum number of cars that we can accept for this run, so if you are interested in joining in the event, please book through the online shop as soon as you can. Early booking will prevent you missing out if we hit the upper limit of cars that can be accommodated at the start point.

Re: Thames Bridges & Tunnels 2016
Thank you Keith.
In case you are not aware we also have a very good discounted 4* hotel (the Holiday Inn at Southend Airport) situated at the very end of the drive with the bar open until 2am so you can celebrate. You can, of course, leave the run early at Dartford (for the M25) if you are driving straight home.
There is no London congestion charge at weekends.
Don't forget, a small torch may help read the fully comprehensive Roadbook.

Re: Thames Bridges & Tunnels 2016
Route planning is on target, the first two hour section is done and the Roadbook us being created by Andy. The second section is a little less but more distance as it brings you right out to Southend ( if you wish to drive the whole length of the river with us).
I am applying for extra places at the Sunday car show in Battlesbridge if anybody else wants to join us, we will all be there as this is a large show with maybe a thousand cars on display. It's £10 per car and you get special entry away from the crowds. Check out Battlesbridge as it is a lovely place in itself www.battlesbridge.com

You'll have to ask the chairman Camiel, I know MX5's are not allowed.

I have a feeling we won't make it as I am yet to get the subframes off the donar TF, let alone started on getting them on the F and getting an MOT.

Re: Thames Bridges & Tunnels 2016
Yes as he is already pre-booked on the run. We will need details on the car for the security check though.adrianclifford wrote:Keith, can a Lotus from Holland join the event, Camiel is asking.
We may have cars that won't make be able to make it for one reason or another on the night, so replacement cars are always allowed.
This does not though, open the event to other non MGs in general.

Has he entered a reg number, I don't have a list to check ?
If not I'll write to him and get it.

Lotus Elise S1, black, reg number is 9-TLZ-58. So a K-series engine anyway.
