Abingdon Country Fair and Air Show - 3rd May

The register will be represented at this show held just outside Abgindon itself. Gazebo , regalia, cars (surprisingly). This is usually a good comnbination Air Show, Car Show and Country show with lots of public interest, side stalls, Arena displays etc etc.

We're looking at getting a little group from the southerly direction together to head there but if you are from elsewhere than you are more than welcome. Abingdon Works Cente run a separate entrance for MGs so follow the small MG signs to the back of the airfield.

Anyone planning on going ?

Hopefully a few of us from the Midlands will be coming to the show

Is the entrance to the show for the cars still via the main entrance or is it completely separate?

It's a completely separate entrance around the back of the airfield - there will be small A4 signs with the MG logo on and an arrow from the main entrance so just follow those for about a couple of miles.

If you're coming up from the M4 direction we are planning to meet at Chievely Services at the junction of the A34 around 0930am to run in together.

Hi All,

I'll be heading up from the south on the A34, via Winchester if any one wants to meet up for the run up the Chievely Services before meeting up with everyone else for the run in to Abingdon

Hi All i will coming via the M40 from wycombe way, but F not well, so in ZT. And will have just finished 12 night shift, so will not leave to 11:00ish, what time does it open. Cheers Pete.

I think it opens around 10am and we'll be aiming to get there with the M4 group for just beyond that time. See you there
