New 09 BRG TF just burst into flames.

Post by colintf » Mon Apr 27, 2009 6:59 pm

Had a call from my boss who was travelling back from Derby at 18.22 to say he had just seen a new 09 reg TF well on fire :o with a very bemused looking young lady looking at it. Looked like BRG in colour

Would of been M42 / M5

Hope its not an inherent problem.

Colin, there are no 09 BRG TF's out there yet as far as the LE's go that colour is not an option, although the standard TF will have that option. Maybe its longbridge road testing?

There was an 09 BRG TF 135 at Windsor on Saturday as part of the MG's display (along with LE500 and the 85th Ann'y TF).

I hope it wasn't that one.

That's correct Steve, the one at Windsor was a pre-production TF135 in BRG, see pictures from the Windsor pages.
Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.
