Any chance of me meeting up with you?, are you staying over on monday night? it could be a good idea, as tim says its an early start tuesday am!

Sadly I can't see me being able to go up on the Monday as we don't get back from our camping weekend till Monday afternoon. More than happy to meet up on Tuesday morning for the ride up though. As there is a few of us perhaps we could arrange a meet up somewhere. Chievely or Cherwell Valley perhaps?
Hi John
Because it takes me 1.1/2hrs just to reach M40, what time have you in mind for your meeting up of the 'clan'?

Hi Tim, As I live in the area I recomend this hotel for your short stay in Brum http://www.premierinn.com/pti/hotelInfo ... elId=24230 Exit the M5 (J4) onto the A38 towards Birmingham. Turn left into Birmingham Great Park, the hotel is behind the Morrisons superstore. Its about a 2 minute drive to Q Gate & maybe a 15 minute walk :)

Hope this helps

I've not only managed to convince my manager to come into work on the Tuesday so that I could have the day off (she had previously booked it off) but also managed to arrange a business meeting in Birmingham on the Monday so the company are putting me up for the night, have to stay in their recommended Hotel though so I shall be in the Crowne Plaza! :thumbsu: :D

Glad you found the info useful Tim :thumbsu: By the way Birmingham Great Park is built on the site of a old lunatic asylum; was one of the largest in England apparently :)

Enjoy the tour

Sorry Tim - I am going to have to drop out of this visit. Have something that clashes on the afternoon of the 7th and sadly, I can not cancel or be late for it. Struck through my name and raised the first reserve name up into the list. Bad luck for me but there is always a silver lining for someone else :(

Sorry you've had to drop out Keith.

Ian has suggested we meet up in Lowhill Lane itself near Q gate. I suggest we do that about 0945 to then drive in together - this actually makes it easier for security at the gate as well.

I'll be sending the list of names off tomorrow so if anyone else can't make it please say so now.

Andy G can you get in touch to confirm you can make it please.

Hi Tim,
As we are staying at the same overnight hotel, would it be alright if I tag along with you to the meeting point?
