Our thanks as well to all those in the high viz, and everyone else, for all their work over the weekend!
Abby and I were chuffed to see we'd made it into the programme, illustrating the driving tests!
Thanks,
Mark

Even with the rain the whole weekend was very enjoyable! It's been a long time since I had mushy peas last
It was nice this year to be able to look around and enjoy the show as a normal punter, although this means that next year I'm going to have to do twice as much work doesn't it

Re: MG Fest ~ Thanks
Yep, my words too. A big thanks to those that attended, even in the rain of Saturday, and those that done far more work than I.
Funny though, I still didn't get time to see all of the cars and speak to some of the people, but I did get to Ian's talk this time .
I even managed to buy one of his pictures at his by now famous auction. Managed to get six bottles of beer at the last knocking, it was really the end as they had to get them out of the van and put the labels on just for us.

Re: MG Fest ~ Thanks
It seemed like Fest was well recieved again and even the weather could not dampen the spirit on the Friday/Saturday. The Fest ale may have ensured the Friday night went well. Even with the weather the road runners seemed to have had a good time sampling the roads around Gaydon on the Saturday.
It was good to see so many people & cars that turned up on the Sunday filling the apron and spilling over onto the grass area. Not sure if any one had a chance to count the cars that arrived but it seemed as good turn out to the main Fest day as any of the previous events. Good to see so many people joining in with the fun as it is the visitors that make/break an event.
Hope to see all the pictures when they get posted as my camera never had the chance to come out during the weekend (which is very unlike me).

Got to add my thanks too for everyones efforts - looks like the switch to a single "show day" played out well for the traders and the weather came out in the end

Thanks to you ALL 'again' for a fab weekend
Echo the change of venue (for a change) on the other-hand I/we would still go there again next year (just as long as the showers don't end-up in the next county)
Thanks
John

Re: MG Fest ~ Thanks
Thanks for all the great comments everyone - it makes it all worthwhile
On behalf of the F and Z Registers I want to publicly thank our partners and sponsors who make the show possible by their generosity, without them we just wouldn't be able to do it.
I also want to thank the thirty or so helpers over the weekend itself who ran the show on the day , be it parking cars, looking after the campsite, running the arena events and stalls or a myriad of other things. Thanks everyone and again without that help we wouldn't be able to put on a show either !
On the MGCC side I'd also like to thank the Kimber House staff and the Abingdon Works Centre who provided a lot of the equipment we used over the weekend.
Finally the organising team itself who have spent the last year putting this weekend together for everyone to enjoy and to the Heritage Motor Centre staff who help us out as well - it's been hard work but I hope you'll agree it was worth it !
Looking forward to some more of your photos going on line - I'll no doubt pinch a few to put on the official http://www.mgfest.co.uk website before too long .
Here's to MGFest10 (maybe !)
