Back at the Queens head again tomorrow night.
Looking for another venue for next month (September) so will keep you posted, though suggestions are welcome.

Have just spoken to the Three Horseshoes to book the table for this months meet on Wed 14th.
As you know the current owners are retiring mid September, and unfortunately I have discovered the pub will close when they go
They will still be open in September when our meet is due to take place, but I have been warned the menu will be somewhat limited.
Therefore I am on the look out for another venue for our meets from September/October onward if there are any suggestions?

Considering that the region has extended north to the West Midlands, perhaps we may consider moving north for our meets in order to encoursge more people.
Our experience goes as far as Knowle. On the Warwick Road to the south.
http://www.thekingsarmsknowle.co.uk . A very nice terrace adjacent to the canal in the summer . The Menu is on their website but ???.
