Aaagghhh window alignment
Wel I took the plunge and started to align my drivers side windo, on Saturday. Thought it was much better only to realise on Monday that there was a serious gap at the rear of the window. Had another go on Monday, again I thought it had it, only to realise this morning that the window wouldn't go up....
Had another go at work today, no luck. Read a good how to again and had another go tonight......
I have had the win cheater out, as the glass had fallen out of the slot that is part of the cheater !!!
Now every time I try to raise the window up it pops out of the groove.
I am thinking the cheater has been distorted...are there any pics of a good one out there...
Next step is to open up the passenger side and compare.....why oh why did I start this......

Another few hours spent on it yesterday, tightened all screws on the cheater, ran out of time, almost there. Peeeed it down last night, not checked it yet, but gotta go out in a bit, wet or dry.....

Re: Aaagghhh window alignment
I spent bloody hours trying to adjust the windows when Cath first got her F. All I managed to do was make it worse, then spent hours getting it back to how it was
Now when we change from soft to hard or visa versa I get someone else to do it

Re: Aaagghhh window alignment
Good news and bad......drivers footwell dry, but the area behind the seat isn't, not sure if this is legacy or related to the gap between the hood and the door and maybe to do with the watering can soaking it got yesterday....or maybe just the fact it is on a slight hill on my drive pointing upwards....will see as it is raining again.
The hood fitting just above the door handle is a really bad design ...or is it just mine?
